Hello, my name is Gail Shreeves, and I am a Clay Therapist who works in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. Qualified as a Play Therapist with PTUK I also hold a Post graduate Certificate in Systemic Practice.  I have previously qualified as a Nurse, Midwife, Health Visitor, Teacher and SENDCo and these other professions have helped to facilitate and influence my work with Clay.

I work with individual children, adolescents, and adults, whilst also offering clay work with groups of clients who share similar reasons for coming to Clay Therapy. Within group work I tend to use a more directive approach because clients in the group come to the group with the same issues when they can share their thoughts. If clients need more than the 6 sessions of group work, therapy is offered for individual sessions.

I have a particular interest in clay as it allows clients to tap into their unconscious and this permits issues that have been ‘hidden’ for a while, to come into consciousness where they can be processed and talked about.
