Hello, I am a Clay therapist, Creative Arts Therapist and Play Therapist, based in Bury St Edmunds and registered with PTUK. I have over 20 years’ experience working with children and teens as a teacher, home educator, LSA and therapist. Frequently at a loss for words myself, I love to work in a hands-on, creative, experimental manner – the messier, the better. Having experienced the surprising power of working with clay, I have deep respect for the medium and for what might emerge when we let go of perfectionism and allow our hands to do what they need.
I work with children, teens and adults both individually and in small groups. I have experience working with difficulties related to neurodivergence, abuse, divorce, bereavement and developmental delays and with adopted and fostered children. I offer a confidential, unhurried, non-judgmental space where people of any age can experiment, reflect and mull over their concerns and thoughts while playing with clay. I love to facilitate others as they uncover some of what lies within and find solutions that work for them.
