“The course was beyond my expectations. The training programme suited the way I learn being so hands on myself. It was upbeat and helped me focus throughout the whole of the 5 days especially face to face during Level 1 & 2. 5 days seemed a long time on paper, although this wasn’t the case. The week flew by! With a variety of hands-on tasks, reflections on our own clay work, learning how to work with our own clients as we continued with the hands-on experience throughout. The theory was cleverly incorporated into the course criteria, keeping everyone focused through the day. Home-made cake and gorgeous homemade cooked food, actually gave the course that extra special touch. This kept everyone motivated and focused throughout the week. Both Level 3 & 4 online courses was interactive, pacey and breaks were given so we could quickly recharge. Once again even being online, I was focused, motivated and driven over both weekends. Lynne has a way of making a person feel a sense of ease. Even though she is such a knowledgeable lady, she tends to feel like one of the people on the course projecting warmth and consideration for each person - thank you Lynne, and thank you to Kate to, another knowledgeable lady who gave us all the support when needed through the times we needed it. I loved every minute of this course! JM. Play & Sandplay Therapist “An inspiring course. I was able to learn, share and reflect, in a beautiful and nurturing environment.” ZT. “This course has taken place over a time period of 10 months which has given the opportunity to embed the training, practice the learning and integrate the process. It is still not complete until the practice sheets are all completed so therefore the time of involvement continues. I feel this is an asset for the course as it takes time to learn and respect the value of using clay in therapy. This does not feel like a process one would rush in order to gain a professional qualification; conversely time is required to embody and experience this professional learning as a personal journey and to do it safely under the guidance of Lynne and Kate and learning from each other." HO. Art therapist "The training really helped me to work with the clay in a different way to what I was use to. Being able to understand an underpinning theory to why working with clay makes us feel the way we do was so helpful." KC. Children's Counsellor "This training was so good, I did it twice!" MH. Play Therapist This Clay Therapy training was hugely beneficial to me both personally & professionally." GS. Counsellor & Play Therapist . |
