REGISTER FOR MEMBER’S LISTING ON THE CLAY THERAPY COMMUNITY WEBSITE The Clay Therapy Community remains respectful of each therapist’s initial clinical and subsequent training, acknowledging that this is a valuable resource upon which rests the specialist Clay Therapy training. There are three listed levels:
CLAY THERAPIST The Clay Therapy course of 40 hours duration is delivered in five or six day blocks depending upon location and country and all graduates of this programme become automatically eligible to apply for listing, as a Clay Therapist, on the Clay Therapy Community (CTC) website when submitting the following:
A copy of the Clay Therapy graduating certificate.
A case study of no more than 2000 words illuminating the use of clay in clinical sessions with a child, young person or adult as client. Theoretical anchoring needs to be demonstrated in the study.

CLAY THERAPIST - ADVANCED PRACTITIONER Clay Therapists wishing to progress to this level of standing are required to submit the following: 1a. Evidence of 100 clinical sessions (client &/or supervisee) when clay has been used. A clinical supervisor statement certifying this to be the case is acceptable evidence OR 1b. The completion certificate of the Family Life in the Therapeutic Space series of 6 workshops. AND
A statement illuminating how clay has been integrated into professional clinical practice and the difference it is making to client/supervision work since graduating from the Clay Therapy training. No more than 1500 words.
It is eagerly anticipated that Clay Therapists, APs are likely to contribute to the Enrichment weekends which will be held bi-annually as from 2020.
CLAY THERAPIST - ADVANCED PRACTITIONER, SUPERVISOR Advance Practitioner Clay Therapists wishing to progress to this level of standing are required to submit the following:
Copy of supervision training.
1000 words statement illustrating how clay has been used in professional clinical supervision.
